A little bit about yourself--where are you from? What do you like to do?
I was born and raised in Chicago. I love spending time with my family, fur babies, horseback riding, motorcycling, crafts, gardening, and hiking. I also enjoy volunteering for my friend's non profit which offers services for mental, physical, emotional, and functional disabilities.

Favorite thing about teaching or working at Sullivan?
My favorite thing about teaching at Sullivan is seeing the student's faces light up when they have that a-ha moment. The ability to assist them to see what their learning is relatable to real world. Hosting the culture club with Winthrop has been rewarding as well. It provides club participants an opportunity to collaborate with international student ambassadors from Winthrop.

What is your "genius" or "Superpower"?
My superpower is my ability to ask my stake holders for their feedback. I respect my student's opinions because it is their classroom. They will not be vested in the classroom unless they know they are respected and they assist in setting the framework for it. I sit in different places within the room, so I can view the room from their perspective. I am also a shape shifter because I am capable of changing shape based on what a student needs at that time.
