• There is exciting news to share! Saluda Trail STEAM Middle School has been recertified as an Arts in the Basic Curriculum School. This institute supports student achievement by creating an environment that provides opportunities for every child to excel both in school and in the community. Using the arts as a platform to grow and develop skills, this program encourages students to find their own voice through self-expression, and integrates with our STEAM components.

    As a result, our students have more opportunities to excel in the arts due to funding provided by the Institute, the SC Arts Commission and support from the National Endowment for the Arts. One example of how this funding directly impacts students is through the resources provided in courses such as sculpture, fashion, digital piano and photography.
