I am Ms. Bennett, and I’m thrilled to be the school counselor at MGES! For the past 25 years I’ve been the school counselor at Belleview Elementary here in ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û. With Belleview Elementary closing at the end of the 2020-2021 school year, I was delighted to learn of my new school home at Mt Gallant! Prior to moving to ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û I lived in Hawaii, Scotland and Charleston, South Carolina where I was also a school counselor. Growing up I lived in many different places due to the fact that my father was a pilot in the United States Air Force.
As the school counselor I will be visiting with students during classroom counseling which will provide me with opportunities to get to know all of the children at Mt. Gallant. I will also be available for individual and small group counseling. Since I will be new to our school too, we will learn together about all of the amazing things that can be found at “the castle!”
