Ms. Becky McCoy
Hi! My name is Becky McCoy, and this is my seventh year at Saluda Trail. I am originally from the Huntington, West Virginia area and a Marshall University graduate (GO HERD!) I moved to South Carolina in 2007. I taught social studies at a middle school in Lancaster County and then became a school counselor at a middle school in Chesterfield County. I earned my Master's Degree in counseling from Winthrop University (Go EAGLES!) I am married to a high school teacher and coach and we have two children- an nine year old girl and a seven year old boy. We enjoy watching and going to Carolina Panthers games.
I come from a family of educators and I always knew I wanted to work with students and make an impact in their lives. I was fortunate to have some amazing teachers and counselors growing up and I wanted to be that for other students as well. I love working at the middle school level and am excited to continue my journey here at the Trail. I look forward to a great school year and working with the 6th grade students. Go Wildcats!
