Hi! I am Mrs. Sarah Blackwell and this will be my 7th year teaching but 5th year at York Road. I grew up in Clover and graduated from Clover High School. I completed my Bachelors degree in psychology at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC and Masters degree in teaching special education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. I have a 2 year old daughter named Georgia Reese with my husband Chris. We love traveling and going on long walks with our dogs Greta, Gauge, and Champ! We also have a pet turtle, ball python, and several fish.

 

I am so excited for this school year! I can't wait to see all our new faces at YRES and see many of our returning classmates! We will have a great year full of fun and learning! I love and live by the quote "Children should leave each day with a smile on their face and a story in their heart" (Unknown).
