¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û

My name is Jordy McCoy, and I am very excited to join RH School District 3, especially at Saluda Trail Middle School. I am from ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û and was part of the first 7th grade class to open Saluda Trail in 1999, and graduated from ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û High School in 2005. I have a bachelor's degree from Winthrop University and a masters' degree from West Virginia University. Currently, I am working on my 2nd master’s degree in educational leadership. I am married to Becky McCoy (6th grade school counselor at STMS) and have two children: Hayden (10) and Kyle (8). We enjoy going to live sporting events and cheering on our favorite teams: Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Braves, Carolina Hurricanes, Charlotte Hornets, South Carolina Gamecocks, and Winthrop Eagles!!! We love to travel and see cities we have not been to before. I have coached high school basketball for 17 years at ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û, Chesterfield, and York Comprehensive High, respectively. I will be returning to ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û High for my 18th season as an assistant girls' basketball coach. In addition, I am an assistant baseball coach for ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û American Legion Post 34 in the summer.
